Nicky Woodhouse

Nicky Woodhouse is an award-winning multidisciplinary director and creative director whose 25-year career has spanned broadcast TV, politics and commercial production.

She is an accomplished director, self-shooter and offline editor. She most enjoys working unscripted with real people to capture the essence of their personalities in a relaxed and authentic way. 

She is the founder of Sister Motion which was born out of her own lived experience of too frequently being the only woman in the crew apart from the HMU. Sister Motion exists to address the gender gap in the production industry. It provides full-service production for brands looking to harness the power of female perspectives and produce content that speaks directly to women. 
 

Nicky is happy to work on above or below-the-line campaigns and has a wealth of experience in documentaries, unscripted talking heads and fly-on-the-wall/ observational filming.

She lives between North Devon and London and is a committed year-round surfer.
