About Lee J Ford

Lee has worked in the advertising industry since graduating from Central Saint Martins, first as a photographers assistant and then by some giant fluke an art director at some of the best ad agencies around the world. He made the break into directing after returning to London from Amsterdam with a suitcase full of awards. His first gig, a baptism of ice and low flying helicopters, took him to the Arctic Circle to shoot one of BBC Top Gear's most ambitious cross continent races to date, it set the tone for his epic works as a commercials director.

Lee has directed campaigns for brands from Audi and adidas to Nintendo and Nissan, his expertise spans a deep understanding of post production, incorporating innovative technologies, including generative AI images to elevate the creative vision. He thrives on collaboration, working hand-in-hand with diverse teams to push boundaries and craft compelling, culturally impactful narratives that captivate audiences worldwide.

His highly cinematic visual style is no doubt the result of a lifelong obsession with cinema. Lee is currently working on his first feature, a horror flick inspired by the 80's and 90's movies he loved as a kid, and still does as a bigger kid.
