Born in London, England but raised in Dublin, Ireland, Thomas Hefferon grew up with a fascination of storytelling and the moving picture. A self taught filmmaker, his short films have played at over a hundred major international film festivals, winning a slew of awards along the way.

Starting in the Irish advertising scene he quickly established himself, directing campaigns for a multitude of big Irish brands. Wanting to expand his horizons he moved to London, where he immediately booked a campaign for Jaguar, followed by a Land Rover and then an Infiniti commercial. From cars to baby, his next piece of work was a tear jerking Johnson & Johnson campaign.

Having been approached by a bi-coastal US production company he expanded his reach across the Atlantic, winning his very first pitch for a coveted campaign from FCB Chicago for Boston based Financial services company MFS. Since then Thomas can mostly be found on either side of the Atlantic, directing highly visual and heart warming ads for a  number of different clients. He’s now carved out a name for himself as an expert in the field of families interacting with their brands, be it automotive, healthcare, beauty and other consumer goods.

Having signed with Johnny Foreigner he’s extremely excited to take his directing career to the next level.
