Paul’s career started as a commercials and broadcast Producer which he enjoyed for 12 years, and allowed him to distill the best bits of numerous industry icons into a perfect Directing pedigree. In 2010, at the start of a 7 year adventure in Australia, he launched himself face-first into Directing and won several awards for his first 2 spots. Buoyed with both confidence and sunstroke, he quickly developed a reputation for creating ‘authentic’ feeling narrative, finding and celebrating the nuances and quirks of people and everyday life, as well as a dynamic shooting and editing style – all of which squished together to win him Best Editor and Best Director at Promax Australia & NZ. In February 2017, he decided that the surf and sun of Australia wasn’t enough to compensate the sheer volume of creatures trying to eat him on a daily basis, and moved back to England where he now fears nothing more than his children waking him up before 6am. He continues to make commercials and digital content throughout the UK, Europe and the US. Paul has Directed films for the likes of Lurpak, Hyundai, Ford, BMW, IWC, Ferrero, SunRice, Etihad Airways, Optus, MTV, Lifestyle, Foxtel, Smyth’s Toys and WWE.
